Chamber Member of the Week: Paris Creperie

For more than 20 years, Paris Creperie “has been slinging crepes, coffee and smoothies to Coolidge Corner from [their] humble little café.” Indeed, located in the heart of Coolidge Corner, Paris Creperie is a key destination for the Brookline community, offering a friendly environment to socialize and have a delicious meal with great service. It is a fast-casual restaurant that is always abuzz with people.

Moreover, Paris Creperie’s menu, written in the colors of the French flag –– red, blue, and white –– spans the front of the café and includes 8 different savory crepes at lunch ($13 to $18), 6 sweet crepes ($6 to $10, also available as “petite” half sizes), or the option to build your own crepe to your personalized tastes. All crepes offer an inventive combination of ingredients. For example, the savory crepes are often filled with delicious braised chicken, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers,  steak tenderloin, sautéed mushrooms, Roma tomato, and seasoned potatoes. Additionally, the sweet crepes are filled with treats like Nutella, blueberry jam, raspberry sauce, and fresh fruit toppings. Notably, the creperie offers a gluten-free crepe substitute, made with buckwheat batter. Furthermore, Paris Creperie offers a wide selection of coffee and Nutella chocolate drinks, perfect for the cold weather ($3 to $6), as well as a variety of smoothies (mango, apple juice, lemonade, fresh fruit) and various sorbets and frozen yogurts ($8).

In addition, Nicka Mallia is a 20-year employee at Paris Creperie who has led its catering business for more than six years and is the Director of Operations at the Paris Creperie. Throughout his career at the store, he has learned “how to run a responsible business both socially and financially,” as well as how to “properly integrate himself into [the Brookline] community.” A memorable moment in his career occurred a few years back, when the Brookline Chamber hosted a “Breakfast of Champions,” where the audience enjoyed watching a sit-down interview with Robert Kraft –– owner of the New England Patriots of National Football League (NFL) and New England Revolution of Major League Soccer (MLS), as well as chairman and chief executive officer of the Kraft Group –– and gave out a series of awards. Indeed, unexpectedly, in this event, he won the “Best Restaurant of the Year” award and, consequently, gave an emotional speech, dedicated to both his mother and sister, to everyone seated at the breakfast.

To support Paris Creperie right now, consider dropping by –– at 278 Harvard St, Brookline, MA 02446 –– or visiting their website –– and buying any of their items, from signature, mouthwatering crepes to unique, delicious smoothies!
