In honor of National Poetry Month: Please join Guerilla Opera at Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site for an introduction of acoustic cello followed by the libretto reading of Pterins.
Pterins is an American road trip story about three 19 year old friends who drive across country in 1997 down I-90. They maintain a sense of adventure, freedom, and autonomy and enhance their friendships and self worth. Pterins mixes new avian science along with poetry and a dramatic flair.
Bring a picnic blanket and your appetite for adventure and 90’s nostalgia. No food or drink will be served. Carry in your own water.
Place: Outdoors at The Frederick Law Olmsted Historic Site, 99 Warren St, Brookline.
Admission: Free to the public – suggested age 13 and above. No registration required.
