Conflict Resolution for Seniors Presentation

Join us on Thursday July 27 at 1:00pm at the Senior Center for this presentation on recognizing and responding to senior bullying sponsored and presented by Goddard House Assisted Living. We will explore the psycho-social aspects of bullying with an in-depth look at the bullying of seniors.

We will explore positive interventions that can be employed to transform a community into a people friendly environment through discussion, case studies and role playing. Participants will discuss the various losses seniors experience and understand why bullying could be conceived as a reaction to loss and a gain of control. This workshop will also examine how dementia can elevate both the effects and occurrences of bullying and how to address bullying in a cognitive, friendly way. Register at 617-730-2770
