Jack and the Beanstalk is a joyous, original adaptation of the classic tale about poor Jack who went to sell his cow for three magic beans and out-witted a boy-eating giant. Jack’s daring adventure up the huge beanstalk helps him and his mother out of their difficult financial situation, even if his mother is a bit worried about the moral issues surrounding this unusual way to acquire wealth!
All ages welcome, recommended for 4+

About the Artist
Dream Tale Puppets is a continuation of the Story and Puppet Time project, launched at the Cape Cod Children’s Museum in April 2003. Jacek Zuzanski, the founder of Dream Tale Puppets, studied pantomime with Henryk Tomaszewski, acting with the actors of Grotowski’s Laboratorium Theater and Barba’s Odin Teatret. He has a master’s degree in art from the State Puppetry Institute in Wrocław and a Certificate of Stage Directing from the Ministry of Culture and Art. Before coming to the US in 2001, he taught theater, designed and built puppets, and performed and directed in schools, community centers, and theaters in Poland and Germany. He continued his artistic and pedagogical work in the US, collaborating with schools and cultural centers, including Cape Cod Conservatory, Falmouth Academy, Polish Theater Institute, and Puppet Showplace Theater.
