Taberna de Haro
Taberna de Haro has been serving the authentic cuisine and unique wines of Spain since 1998. This chef-owner operated site is a tastemaker in Boston, serving irresistible dishes that go well beyond tapas. The wine list offers over 300 Spanish wines (the second largest all-Spanish list in the USA) and has won dozens of awards. There are close to 100 sherries, making it the largest sherry list in the country. Try a Flight of Four Sherries and you’ll see just how beguiling tapas and sherry can be! Creative craft cocktails, perfect paellas, and a sweet, knowledgeable staff make Taberna de Haro a must visit. $2 oysters at the bar nightly from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and gorgeous, spacious patio for al fresco dining seal the deal!
“Spanish recipes using New England products wherever possible.”
Taberna de Haro, owned and led by women, is a Spanish restaurant where kindness matters as much as quality. Waitstaff are as personable as they are knowledgeable, whether they are explaining the weekly specials based on local fish and produce or helping guests choose a bottle from the extra large all-Spanish wine list. Chef-Owner-Sommeliere Deborah Hansen conducts monthly staff wine trainings, called Wine Matters, so that servers can engage in discussion on wine. This offer diners an enhanced restaurant experience!
