Through Me To You Puppetry
Through Me To You Puppetry supports anyone who believes in themselves and are inspired to follow their dreams — and not let doubt or fear stop them. We are committed to exploring themes of love, courage, friendship, forgiveness, and persistence through the wonderful world of puppets.
I perform three types of puppet shows: 1) Puppet Story Time, 2) Puppet Riffs and 3) Original Stories.
I perform "Puppet Story Time" for libraries, schools, daycares, private play groups, and birthday parties. "Puppet Story Time" is a program that combines early literature & song with puppetry in a dynamic way that engages viewers of all ages. Both the stories and songs that I perform are interactive, allowing the kids to engage both their minds AND bodies during the 30 minute live performance. Depending on the venues' needs, my show can be geared to toddlers, preschoolers, or elementary-aged children. During Covid, I also adapted my shows for online Zoom performances. I produced over 40 "Puppet Story Time" YouTube videos as well. I have the flexibility to return to these modes, if necessary. (That is, if Covid forces us to quarantine again, I am happy to perform in an online setting.)
I perform "Puppet Riffs" for festivals, street shows, public appearances, private play groups, and birthday parties. Puppet Riffs" is just that - puppets riffing and improvising with the crowd as they pass by. I have performed for Boston Harborfest, Downtown Boston's Doggone Halloween Parade, The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy (at Chin Park in Chinatown), The Marshfield Fair, and The Quincy Pride Festival.
I combine "Puppet Story Time" and "Puppet Riffs" for private play groups and birthday parties.
I also perform original stories about friendship, forgiveness, courage, bullying, and love. (As Covid has affected my ability to regularly perform with my performance partner, I am currently reworking these shows.)
